Arnaud Gidoin se produit à partir de 1992 dans des salles comme Le Point-Virgule ou Le Café de la Gare avec son spectacle Bonjour l'ambiance, co-écrit avec Bruno Autin. Puis il crée avec 12 amis comédiens une troupe, La Bande Originale. Repéré par le producteur Gérard Louvin, il monte sur les planches du Palais des Glaces en 1997, avec La Routine, mis en scène de Pascal Légitimus.
Arnaud Gidoin mène également une carrière à la télévision. Il anime dans les années 1990 une vingtaine d'épisodes de l'émission Les Pourquoi de Mr Pourquoi, sur TF1, puis le jeu Ali Baba toujours sur TF1. Faute d'audience , le jeu ne sera pas poursuivi, mais Arnaud commence à se faire un nom et deviendra un des complices d'Arthur dans La Fureur. Durant l'été 2000, il remplace Michaël Youn à la présentation du Morning live.
Poursuivant les spectacles comiques et le théâtre, il sort en 2008 le dvd 2 Schuss, suite de sketches aux sports d'hiver, qu'il a écrit et qu'il joue aux côtés de Sören Prévost, Bruno Solo, Jean-Luc Lemoine, Vincent Desagnat, Luc Alphand et Philippe Lelièvre.
